Re: Not even any video converter works.

If you read all the problems you see here you will eventually figure out your sansa view .   It really is a nice device.  I too have had a lot of problems but slowly worked them all out by reading the forum and getting all the info I could.
I had to reconvert videos a few times before I got it right and yes it does take a long time to get them on the view.  something that would be nice down the road in a firmware update.

Re: Not even any video converter works.

For me, I have found that purchasing vids from Amazon Unboxed is easy.  They download and very quickly transfers to the Sansa View.  However, if u want vids from utube or google, use this program to convert them:

I have been successful in converting vids/songs.  I really like it.  ONce u have the file converted, you'll receive an email, and open the email, click on the download link, then in the popup window, click the download button, choose your folder to download to, and go.  Then afterwards, the vids have to be ran thru Sansa Media Converter to be transfered to the player.  It sounds long and drawn out , but it's not.

please check this one.

http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/download/FreeVideoToiPodConverter.exe

it works great - it´s freeware and there are no unnecessary settings to set.

Re: Not even any video converter works.

I'd like to clear things up concerning my dilemma. I don't have a dilemma anymore. That is, ever since I got the full version of the Allok Video to MP4 video converter. It is flawless in it's execution, the audio and the video stay in sync, it converts to the format I want it to, and I can convert to a multitude of formats, not just MP4. I highly recommend this converter to ANYONE.

Re: Not even any video converter works.

Hello, I use sansa converter.  It seems to do for most vids!
I mostly watch tv shows on my sansa at work or my kid uses it when we are driving somewhere.
anyway, The sansa converter works for all my tv shows--king of queens, friends, charmed and other junk.
but, I have noticed that sometimes the lips dont match up to the voice! This only happens with some vids,
Otherwise no problems! And It also splits shows Into two parts If Its a long show!
The only thing that does stink Is the flipping It sideways to watch shows! Widescreen would be a great idea! like the new nanos.:robotmad:
